Zocor Side Effect -- Depression: Summary

For people taking Zocor, a potential side effect is depression. However, because this occurs rarely (in less than 1 percent of people), it is difficult to know whether the Zocor actually causes depression. If you notice any depression symptoms while taking Zocor, talk with your healthcare provider. He or she may recommend adjusting the Zocor dosage or switching to another cholesterol medication.
