Who Should Not Take Zocor

You should not take Zocor if:
 
  • You are allergic to Zocor, simvistatin, or any of the inactive components used in making Zocor. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • You have active liver disease or unexplained high liver enzymes.
     
  • You are pregnant or nursing.
