Zetia and Sexual Side Effects

There are several side effects that can occur in people taking
 Zetia® (ezetimibe). Some common Zetia side effects include:
 
Sexual side effects (such as erectile dysfunction, orgasm problems, and ejaculation problems) are not a known problem with Zetia. In fact, in clinical studies (in which side effects are always documented), those who participated did not report sexual side effects.
 
If you are taking Zetia and sexual side effects occur, talk with your healthcare provider. While it may not be related to Zetia, your doctor will be able to consider other factors that could be causing sexual problems. Once diagnosed, he or she can come up with a treatment plan that works best for your particular situation.
