Zetia and Hair Loss

There are several side effects that can occur in people taking
 Zetia® (ezetimibe). Some common Zetia side effects include:
 
Hair loss is not a known side effect of Zetia. In fact, it is not mentioned as a side effect that even occurs rarely (in less than 1 percent of people).
 
If you are taking Zetia and hair loss becomes a problem, speak with your healthcare provider. While the hair loss may not be related to this medication, your doctor will be able to consider other factors that can be causing the hair loss.
