Vytorin? Vitoren is a common misspelling of Vytorin.
Vytorin® is a combination medicine that is commonly prescribed for the treatment of high cholesterol and high triglycerides in the blood. The medication, which is composed of ezetimibe and simvastatin, works by causing the liver to make less cholesterol. This increases the liver's ability to collect and get rid of LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) and blocks the absorption of cholesterol from the intestines into the blood. Vytorin is available in different strengths, and is usually taken once a day, in the evening.
