An Overview of Soy Lecithin Drug Interactions
At this point, it is not known if
soy lecithin interacts with other supplements or drugs. However, it is always a good idea to tell your healthcare provider about all medications (including prescription drugs, non-prescription drugs, and vitamins or supplements) you take. Sometimes people forget to include their
dietary supplements, such as soy
lecithin, in their medication list.
Although there are currently no known drug interactions with soy lecithin, it is important to understand that no studies have been done to specifically look for interactions. Therefore, drug interactions may be discovered in the future.
Again, it is very important to tell your healthcare provider about every single medication or supplement you take. Also, let your healthcare provider know if you suspect any possible drug interaction due to soy lecithin. For instance, you might suspect a possible drug interaction if you start taking soy lecithin and one of your other medications seems to be less effective, or if you experience new side effects from one of your other medications.
