You should not take Tricor if you:
- Are allergic to Tricor, fenofibrate, or any of the inactive components used in making Tricor. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
- Have severe liver disease or abnormally high liver enzymes.
- Have severe kidney disease.
- Have pre-existing gallbladder disease or gallstones.
