The medicine is available by prescription and comes in only one strength -- Lovaza 1 gram (1000 mg) capsules. It is taken by mouth, usually once or twice a day.
While most people tolerate the capsules well, potential side effects of Lovaza include infections, burping,
flu symptoms (such as fever or chills), and ingestion or
heartburn.
