Lovasa

Were you looking for information about
Lovaza? Lovasa is a common misspelling of Lovaza.

Lovaza® (omega-3-acid ethyl esters) is a prescription medicine licensed to treat very high triglycerides. It is made from fish oil and appears to work by decreasing the liver's production of triglycerides. Although numerous inexpensive fish oil supplements are available over the counter, it is important to know that Lovaza contains a much higher level of EPA and DHA (omega-3 fatty acids) and may provide more benefits. Lovaza capsules, which come in one strength, are typically taken once or twice a day.
