Lovaza? Lavaza is a common misspelling of Lovaza.

Lovaza® (omega-3-acid ethyl esters) is a medication that can be prescribed to help lower very high triglyceride levels. It is made of fish oil and contains two different omega-3 fatty acids, DHA and EPA. Lovaza is considered much safer than over-the-counter fish oil supplements because it is made using a 5-step refinement process that removes impurities (ensuring a pure and safe product). The drug comes in capsule form and can be taken either once or twice a day.
