Off-Label Uses of Lipofen
On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Lipofen for treating something other than the conditions listed above. This is called an "off-label" use. Using Lipofen to prevent heart or blood vessel disease (cardiovascular disease), heart attacks, strokes, or other such problems would be considered to be off-label uses. Using cholesterol medications (such as Lipofen) to prevent diabetic peripheral neuropathy (diabetic nerve disease) is another off-label use.
