Who Should Not Take Lipitor?

You should not take Lipitor if:
 
  • You are allergic to Lipitor or any component of atorvastatin calcium. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients in Lipitor.
  • You have active liver disease or unexplained high liver enzymes.
  • You are pregnant or nursing.
