Juvisync Warnings and Precautions

Who Should Not Take Juvisync?

You should not take Juvisync if:
  • You are allergic to it, simvastatin, sitagliptin, or any of the inactive components used in making the drug. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
  • You have active liver disease or unexplained high liver enzymes.
  • You are taking any of the following medications:
    • Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
    • Ketoconazole (Nizoral®)
    • Nefazodone (Serzone®)
    • Posaconazole (Noxafil®)
    • Telaprevir (Incivek™) 
    • Telithromycin (Ketek®).
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
