Who Should Not Take Fenofibrate?

You should not take fenofibrate if you:
 
  • Are allergic to fenofibrate or to any inactive components used in making fenofibrate. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
  • Have severe liver disease or abnormally high liver enzymes.
  • Have severe kidney disease.
  • Have pre-existing gallbladder disease or gallstones.
