Drug Interactions With Fenofibrate

When certain medicines are combined, there is a possibility of developing negative drug interactions. With fenofibrate, these interactions can lead to decreased absorption of the medicine and increased risks for kidney or muscle problems. Drugs that can interact with fenofibrate include warfarin, statins, and bile acid sequestrants. If drug interactions with fenofibrate are a concern, your healthcare provider may adjust your dosages or monitor you more closely.
