Caduet® is a combination drug typically used to treat conditions affecting the heart and blood vessels, such as high blood pressure or coronary artery disease. It contains amlodipine and atorvastatin. The drug affects cholesterol production in the body and also helps relax blood vessels, which makes it easier for the heart to pump blood. Caduet, which is available by prescription only, comes in tablet form and is typically taken once a day.
