Antara and Depression: A Summary

For people taking Antara, a rare but possible side effect is depression. However, because this occurs so infrequently, it is difficult to know whether Antara is what actually causes depression. If you notice any symptoms of depression while taking Antara, talk to your healthcare provider. He or she may recommend adjusting the Antara dosage or switching to another cholesterol medication.
