Who Should Not Take Altoprev?

You should not take Altoprev if:
 
  • You are allergic to Altoprev, lovastatin, or any of the inactive components used in making Altroprev. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • You have active liver disease or unexplained high liver enzymes.
     
  • You are pregnant or nursing.
